COVID-19 RESOURCES FOR GISA SCHOOLS

GISA continues to provide resources for living and working through COVID-19. We are focused on recovery and resiliency of our schools. As such, we have created a task force to develop strategies and to provide insights on decisions we must make, actions we will need to accomplish, and words we need to communicate. As we look toward our schools re-opening, our GISA Task Force will continue to provide you with resources that will hopefully bolster the growth and sustainability of our schools.

Please check reference sites often for any changes that will impact your plan.

Independent School Data Exchange (INDEX) – Reopening Interviews: INDEX is conducting regular surveys during the coronavirus pandemic to aid member schools with planning and decision-making. This page will be updated periodically with our survey results. Over the last several days, interviews have been conducted with the leadership of international schools which have reopened since the coronavirus pandemic. The interviews have been enlightening and insightful and packed with golden nuggets. Each speaker has taken a slightly different approach to reopening, and you will learn all about how schools creatively rethought student schedules and adroitly staffed both in-person and remote classes. How students, faculty, and parents are dealing with the changes. How space and time are being reimagined.
